Where I'm from Chud is part of the Boarder lingo. A Chud is a person
who is wasted bad. It is a very commonly used word in Southcentral
Alaska. Also people who rage frequently are known as Chuds and houses
that are partied in are called Chud Sheds.

On The Tom Green Show, a once local cable show in Ottawa, Tom went "In Search of The C.H.U.D." Now, he was talking about the movie (which I am specifically not doing), but since it's essentially the funniest TV show ever produced and basically my favorite, it definately shocked the hell out of me. Thank god I have two tapes full of "The Best of Tom Green" from this summer's workterm. By the way, TG is coming to the Comedy Network in January, Canada-wide!

In the novel IT by Stephen King there is something called "The
Ritual of Chüd", a ritual in which two people stick their tongues in
eachother's mouths, bite down, and tell stupid jokes until one of them
can't take it anymore.
Those arent the exact words used in the book, but its close. I
dont have time to flip through 1100+ pages to find the exact meaning.

When I attended UCLA my buddies and I used to refer to Keystone
scarfing, date raping, 50 I.Q., magilla gorilla type frat boys as chuds. The
really obnoxious ones recieved surnames such as Chudster Mc Pudwicks or Bumble
Mc Chudfucks. As you could see, they were people we really admired since they
often used to like to get into brawls with long haired hippie type stoners
such as ourselves!!

Hey there, I was completely amazed to find your web page! I didn't think
there was anyone else in the world that used chud in everyday language.
Well, my friends and I use chud in a lot of different ways. The most
common is in place of fart - usually a really bad fart. It's used as
follows: awww man, jason cracked a chud.... or look at that guy's face!

ago... hehe...

Wow! other people use this word... glee. In high school, my girl gang
and I referred to any mildly stupid male as a "chud". This particularly
included boys or men prone to making thoughtless comments, or spending a

I recently watched the movie, Donnie Darko. A character in the movie calls
another character in the movie a 'Chud.' One of my daughters children's books
also has a teacher called Mrs. Chud. This was too much.
Both references made me remember the 1984 movie CHUD. (Cannibalistic Humanoid
Underground Dwellers)--referenced previously.
My boredom led me to this page and all these definitions cracked me up.
